National Botanic Gardens

While just 3km from Dublin city centre, this green oasis of calm offers a place where the visitor can relax and enjoy the beauty and vast array of wonderful plants and flowers from around the world. The gardens also house the National Herbarium and several historic wrought iron glasshouses. It also features the recently completed Viking house replica.

The National Botanic Gardens is an important centre for botanic research, plant science and conservation.
