Fota Wildlife Park

Fota Wildlife Park is the most popular tourist attraction in Cork and plays a leading role in animal conservation. Its vast 70 arcres of park space enables animals to live in conditions close to their natural habitat while also enabling visitors to get a close view.

The park not only provides an opportunity for visitors to see a wide range of animals, it also plays an important role in the conservation of endangered species. It cooperates with other international organisations on projects to help increase the numbers of species which are close to extinction and to reintroduce animals back into the wild.

Fota Wildlife Park is located approximately 10km east of Cork city off the N8.
